Yi Ming Zeng

Ming represents clients in construction liability and general liability matters in New York state courts. He has experience handling cases from inception through trial including drafting complaints, researching substantive legal issues, motion practice and maintaining correspondence with all relevant parties. Ming also attends judicial conferences and court appearances when necessary.

Ming has experience representing clients in asbestos-related toxic tort cases in New York, prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP. He has also defended clients against New York Labor Law injury claims and premises liability lawsuits. Ming’s representative experience includes property owners, construction contractors and product manufacturers.

While earning his law degree at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Ming was a legal extern at Community Health Advocates, a New York nonprofit that helps residents find and use health insurance and healthcare. During this time, he performed research on fair hearings, and both the federal and state self-insured and fully-insured plan standards. He also conducted preliminary research on medical conditions and symptoms to assist with external and internal appeals of health insurance claim denials, and prepared external appeals for both self-insured and fully-insured plans.
