Jairo practices in the areas of general liability, business litigation, trucking liability and medical professional liability. His representative experience includes handling cases on behalf of his clients to obtain favorable outcomes in a variety of areas of litigation at the state and federal levels.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Jairo represented insurance carriers and corporations throughout southern Florida. He defended a variety of legal matters on behalf of his clients, including those related to regulatory compliance, contract review and general litigation. Jairo regularly worked with outside counsel to achieve favorable outcomes on behalf of his insurance carrier clients’ insureds.
Throughout his tenure, Jairo developed and oversaw a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) that was created for a carrier client. He also attained the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), a highly regarded credential in the insurance industry.

- Defended corporation through bench trial in an open account and account stated lawsuit with a complete defense verdict.
- Represented an insurance carrier throughout a Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Examination with conclusory findings being in accordance with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners guidelines.
- Represented an individual through bench trial in a diminution in value case, successfully collecting damages and costs as the prevailing party.
