Sydney concentrates her practice on construction liability matters, and has experience handling all phases of litigation, including drafting pre-trial motions, conducting discovery and preparing oral arguments for trial.
Prior to joining Litchfield Cavo LLP, Sydney was an attorney at a New York City law firm where she focused her practice on financial litigation. She also worked as a judicial intern at the New York Supreme Court, Civil Branch where she reviewed motions and drafted orders on a variety of civil issues brought before the Court.
While earning her law degree at Baylor University School of Law, Sydney completed the school’s Practice Court program, and also was a member of the Baylor Public Interest Legal Society and the Women’s Legal Society. Sydney was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Higginbotham, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and for the District Attorney of Collin County, Texas.
