Michael concentrates his practice in the areas of general liability, workers’ compensation, and employment and labor law. He handles civil and administrative claims from inception to resolution including factual investigation, developing effective defense strategies, conducting depositions and settlement negotiations, and preparing and arguing dispositive motions.
Michael previously worked at a general practice litigation firm where he represented clients in a range of civil litigation matters such as contractual disputes, employment law, personal injury and family law. He also represented claimants and respondents in administrative proceedings before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Connecticut Employment Security Appeals Division. Thereafter, Michael joined a mid-sized insurance defense firm where his practice focused on defending individual insureds, large commercial retailers and transportation companies against personal and commercial vehicle torts and premises liability claims brought in Connecticut Superior Court.
