Dallas-Fort Worth Summary Judgment Victory for Indemnity, Breach of Contract
Litchfield Cavo’s Dallas-Fort Worth office attorneys obtained significant victory was recently obtained on behalf of our construction materials client on accusations by Plaintiff of indemnity, breach of contract and contribution claims.
This business litigation case was heard in the 96th Judicial District Court of Tarrant County, Texas wherein the Plaintiff attempted to recover more than half a million dollars from our construction materials client. Partners Kindu Walker, Matthew McLain and attorney Emily Hollenbeck defended our client against allegations of indemnity, breach of contract and contribution claims arising from an underlying multi-vehicle accident.
Matt and Emily prepared and filed a Motion for Summary Judgment requesting the dismissal of all Plaintiff’s claims against our client. After an oral hearing before the District Court argued by Matthew McLain, the Court granted our client’s Motion dismissing all of Plaintiff’s claims against our client with prejudice.
