Practices

  • Prevailed for property owners of a ground-floor commercial condominium in a three-unit mixed-use building after harassment, interference and tortious misconduct by other unit owners; following a two-week trial, the jury found our clients not liable on each count of the counterclaims and awarded our clients damages for lost rent, as well as attorneys’ fees and costs.
  • Obtained defense verdict in an employment case involving allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation; after a six-day trial, a unanimous jury found that the plaintiff’s “hostile work environment” claims were untimely, and that the plaintiff failed to prove that our client engaged in gender discrimination or retaliation.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a rideshare driver in a single-vehicle negligence case; the Court held that without expert testimony, the plaintiff could not establish the incident was the cause of her injuries.
  • Obtained dismissal with prejudice on petition to compel arbitration arising from a dispute among the owners and trustees of a property concerning the right to initiate a claim with the master insurance policy, and use of common funds to pay a deductible.
