Illinois Attorneys Designated as Leading Lawyers and Emerging Lawyers in 2020

Litchfield Cavo LLP is pleased to announce that 25 of our Chicago office attorneys have been named as 2020 Leading Lawyers in the January edition of Leading Lawyers Network Magazine – Business Edition, a publication of the Law Bulletin Publishing. In addition, five of our attorneys were designated as Emerging Lawyers. Only those lawyers who are most frequently and consistently recommended by their peers are listed.

Associate attorneys Michael P. Baniak, Alissa N. DeConinck-Laufer, Kathrin M. Deutschle, Phillip G. Litchfield and Laurence J. W. Tooth were also identified by the publication as 2020 Emerging Lawyers.

The Leading Lawyer designation, that is limited to less than five percent of the attorneys in the state, is determined by a survey of all licensed attorneys in the state, followed by interviews, verification and the approval of the Leading Lawyers Advisory Board. The Emerging Lawyers distinction is received by fewer than two percent of attorneys in the state of Illinois who are considered by their peers to be “of exceptional character and conveyed outstanding aptitude for the practice of law in the early stage of their career.”
